Class Descriptions
Core Yoga with Lisa – no experience necessary
In this class we will begin with pranayama, or breath awareness techniques before we stretch, strengthen, and tone the core muscles (shoulders, back, abdomen and hips) from the front to the back of the body. Relax your entire body and restore your energy with 10-15 minutes of yoga nidra to complete your practice.
Deep Stretch with Judy- no experience necessary
This class is a focus of traditional postures held for longer periods of time to stretch and strengthen the muscles, including the connective tissues found around the joints that are more challenging to reach than the skin and larger muscles. This is the perfect class to end your day with!
Ease into Yoga with Dawn – no experience necessary
This class is designed for those hesitant to join a group yoga class due to lack of flexibility/strength, age, weight, or any other reason. Breath awareness practices combined with therapeutic and restorative yoga poses facilitate deep relaxation and overall well-being. Nourish your mind, body, and spirit in this gentle and contemplative class.
Flow with Lisa Miller – Previous yoga experience recommended
Move the body in synchronicity with the breath and feel the intense calming affect that a vinyasa flow practice has on the body and mind. You will learn to breathe the body into motion while finding peace within.
Focused Flow with Carissa – previous experience recommended
This class is based on Vinyasa Flow where we will link our breath with our movements. We will also explore pranayama methods to help us deepen our poses and cultivate inner awareness.
Introduction to Meditation with Dawn – no experience necessary
Explore a variety of meditation techniques such as guided visualization, walking meditation, mantra, and other forms of practice. A yoga nidra practice is held on the 4th Monday of every month.
Morning Hatha Yoga with Sue – no experience necessary
This Hatha Yoga class focuses on the intricacy of poses (asanas), the practice of breath (pranayama), and meditation. You will learn a solid yoga foundation, including therapeutic aspects of the asanas, exploration of the chakras and other various practices to bring peace through connecting with the essence of yoga.
Slow Flow with Lisa and Jessica - Previous yoga experience recommended
In this class we will learn how to use our breath to connect to the innermost part of our bodies and minds, and find peace and clarity in our flow. You will leave class feeling calm and renewed, yet strong and energized!
Yoga Basics with Dawn – no experience necessary
Learn the fundamentals of alignment for basic yoga poses, practice breath awareness for focus and relaxation, and explore the mind-body connection in this supportive and uplifting class. Variations of poses and the use of props will be presented for differing levels of physical ability and yoga experience.
Yoga Basics Level 2 with Meghan – no experience necessary
This Hatha style class is perfect for those looking to compliment any other yoga class we offer. Like Yoga Basics Level 1, this class will focus on alignment, breath awareness, and the mind-body connection, but will take you to the next level.
