Lisa Fleming – Director
Lisa is a Registered Yoga Teacher certified at the 300-hour level with the Yoga Alliance, and continues to work and study with the Awaken Yoga School in Euclid, Ohio. She knows first hand that yoga can be a healer. Lisa was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythmetosis at the age of 11, and feels she has finally found the best treatment for her “dis-ease” through yoga. Her Lupus went into remission shortly after she began her practice and she has never been healthier! Lisa teaches her classes from her heart, drawing energy from her students and her highest Self to create a peaceful, powerful sanctuary for her students to find peace and healing within themselves. She feels that sharing what she has learned with others is not only her passion, but also her responsibility in this lifetime.

Dawn Miller
Dawn Miller Dawn loves to bring the practice of mindfulness of the present moment into her yoga classes. She was drawn to yoga during a very stressful time in her life and through her practice, realized that life is really a series of moments connected together, one-by-one. Missing out on those moments really means missing out on life. The practice of yoga can be transformative, and she enjoy creating and cultivating a healing place and space for her students. Her classes emphasize reconnecting with the breath, calming the mind, and nurturing the body through a combination of pranayama (breathwork), meditation, and asanas (physical postures). She completed her 200-hour certification with Mary Pat Murphy and Rowan Silverberg who led a joyous teacher training program based on the Anusara principles of attitude, alignment, and action. She is also most appreciative of Jan Hauenstein of T.R.Y (Therapy, Reiki, Yoga) 4 Life who guided her through advanced and master Usui Reiki training. Dawn has a Master’s degree in Medical Anthropology and a long-standing interest in cross-cultural health and healing practices. She also enjoys photography, gardening, and spending time in the great outdoors. Enlightenment, peace, and joy will not be granted by someone else. The well is within us, and if we dig deeply in the present moment, the water will spring forth. Thich Nhat Hanh

Sue has found Yoga to bring her many joys in her life, such as peace, balance and confidence in her mind, body and spirit. She has a passion to inspire and pass these benefits onto her students. “When you guide someone through a yoga class and they appreciate and accept it, both the teacher and the student will feel the true depth of this amazing practice.” Peace and Namaste.

Carissa Moon
Carissa Moon is a 200hr certified Yoga instructor through Awaken Yoga School. She has been teaching Slow Flow and Beginners Vinyasa Yoga since June of 2010. Carissa has maintained a consistent yoga practice for over 16 years. She now shares her love for yoga with her husband and three young children. The opportunity to teach other willing students outside of her family and friends is both humbling and a thrill! Carissa offers insight into both the spiritual and physical aspects of this practice and provides breathing cues with asana modifications throughout her classes. All are welcome with open hearts and all will leave with, at the very least a deeper appreciation for the self and themselves. With all sincerity, Namaste!

Meghan O’Donnell
Meghan had practiced yoga on and off for a few years, always coming back to it because of its effect on her body and mind. She went through her 300-hour teacher training at Awaken Yoga School to learn more about this discipline and to challenge herself to work through her personal struggles and to dig deeper for her true self she knew had been hiding underneath the surface. Yoga is teaching Meghan to learn to accept and love herself unconditionally, and to cultivate confidence and calmness. She looks forward to helping others share in the joy of the path of yoga.

Lisa Miller
I am a life long fitness enthusiast with over thirty years of experience.  I have dedicated my life to the well being of myself and others by teaching Body Sculpting, Kickboxing, Weight Training and High Impact Aerobics.  I also enjoy bicycling, hiking, walking, reading, cooking and traveling.

After spending my adult life in the fitness world, I made a choice to make YOGA my main priority.  Yoga is a mind, body and life changing experience.  After realizing this I made a commitment to share this with others.  In the many years that I spent as a personal trainer I saw first hand the struggles that my clients faced. Yoga is a wonderful experience and I look forward to sharing it with others.
